Overview

This guide describes the configuration of the Pipedrive integration in echo. Once connected, echo matches incoming calls with contacts from Pipedrive, helping you identify callers directly in Teams. The settings are available at any time under Settings → Pipedrive.

You can start the connection in either of two ways:

Both paths establish the same personal connection. It does not matter where you start, and you do not need to repeat the connection through the other path. Each user needs their own Pipedrive connection.

In addition to caller identification, echo shows people, organizations, leads and deals from Pipedrive and lets you create contacts in Pipedrive.

Install the echo app in Pipedrive

The installation is started from Pipedrive and authorizes echo to access your Pipedrive account.

  1. In Pipedrive, install the echo app and confirm the requested permissions.
  2. You are redirected to the echo website and asked to sign in with your Microsoft 365 account.
  3. After a successful sign-in, a confirmation page is displayed and the Pipedrive connection is stored in echo.
Good to knowSign in with the same Microsoft 365 account (and organization) that you use for echo in Teams. If the installation context has expired, simply restart the installation from Pipedrive.

User connection (per user)

If you have not already connected through Pipedrive, connect your personal account directly in echo during onboarding or under Settings → Pipedrive. Click Login, sign in to Pipedrive in the window that opens and confirm the requested permissions.

Afterwards the connection is shown as Connected. Via Logout you can remove the connection again at any time.

NoteThe user sees exactly the data that their Pipedrive account is allowed to see. Make sure the account has access to the relevant people, organizations, leads and deals.

Incoming caller identification

After connecting, echo searches Pipedrive for the incoming caller's phone number. If a matching contact is found, echo displays it in the caller cockpit in Teams so you can see who is calling and access their Pipedrive information.

Make sure the caller's phone number is stored on the contact in Pipedrive and that your connected Pipedrive account can access that contact.

Leads & deals

For a contact that originates from Pipedrive, echo shows the linked leads and deals in the Leads & Deals section. For each entry the title, value, status, expected close date and owner are displayed. An Open link leads directly to the entry in Pipedrive.

Troubleshooting

If Pipedrive does not deliver any data, check the following:
